Jesus Himself taught us how important children are to the kingdom of God. At River of Life we are working to develop a dynamic children’s ministry. We have something for children of all ages. Their safety and spiritual growth are our highest priority. We use an electronic check in/check out system and do background checks on all children’s ministry staff.

Breakfast – Every Sunday morning beginning at 9:15 we are providing a light breakfast for our kids! You will find some pastry treats as well as lots of healthy fruit, served by our smiling volunteers.

Nursery – We have a well-staffed and safe, sanitary environment for your infant in our Nursery program. This is for infants through 2 years (until potty-trained).

Sonbeams – There are two classes for our Sonbeams age group. One class is for 2-3 years (potty-trained) and the other is for 4-5 years. Each class is staffed with an adult teacher and a volunteer from Resonate Student Ministries. Both of these groups come together for praise and worship at the beginning of the service and then split into their age groups for fun and educational activites!

On Wednesday nights, these classes combine into one for their mid-week activities.

Victory Way Children’s Church – After finishing breakfast our Victory Way kids (age K-6th grade), our Victory Way kids have video games, movies, and other activities to keep them busy. At service time, they come into the sanctuary to worship with the adults, while the 2-5 year olds have Kid’s Worship in the Victory Way ministry area.

After the music is over, our Victory Way Kids head over to the Victory Way area to enjoy a high-energy, and entertaining worship service of their own. You will find puppets, character skits, and opportunities to earn tickets for great prizes.

After service is over, you will be able to pick up your child at the check in station where you dropped them off.

On Wednesday nights our K-6th grade kids follow up on Sunday’s lesson, do crafts and other activites and have a delicious snack.
