River of Life exists to participate in the Great Commission which consists of the following:

• Go into all the world

• According to Acts 1:8 this includes:

• Jerusalam (our city – Hot Springs)

• Judea (our region – Arkansas, United States)

• Samaria (cross-cultural)

• To the End of the Earth (global evangelism)

• Make disciples of all nations (ethnos – “people groups”)

• Baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

• Teaching them to observe Christʼs teachings

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8, NKJV)

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20,NKJV)
