This past Halloween our church sent 10 people to Galveston Texas to help with the cleanup after hurricane Ike. We had an amazing time. Work day two was the day that stood out the most. The couple that owned the house were struggling with their Faith in God. Through the course of the day with the help of the Holy Spirit, we were able to strengthen their faith. It was hard for them to believe that God had sent a group of people from Arkansas to Texas to show them how much God loves them. It made the long drive worth every minute just to see God restoring hope to this wonderful family right before our eyes.

This group of three women and seven men had no idea what God was going to do in us. On this short mission trip there were lifelong friendships started and our faith was strengthened in a way that only laboring side by side for the Kingdom of God can bring.
