Holy Week (April 5 – 12, 2009)
Come honor the death and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus during Holy Week, April 5-12. We will be holding various services that week and hope you will join us in this wonderful time.
Palm Sunday (April 5, 10am)
A celebration service commemorating our Lord’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. After service, we will continue celebrating at our annual Church Family Picnic.
Good Friday (April 10, 6:30pm)
Services will be held by candlelight in the sanctuary and emphasis will be given to the stations of the cross. At the conclusion of the service, we will leave the church in silence and return to our homes.
Holy Saturday (April 11)
A day of fasting and reflection on the death of Jesus that was because of our sin.
Easter Sunday (April 12, 6:30a)
Easter Vigil at 6:30am: We will gather before dawn and commemorate the resurrection of our Lord together in song and communion.
Immediately after the service, we will have a church community breakfast. (contact the church office to RSVP for breakfast, thanks!)
Easter Service -10am: Our regularly scheduled service will be held as we will celebrate our Lord’s victory over death resulting in our salvation.
Easter Sunday Egg Hunt (April 12)
Victory Way Children’s Ministry is asking for donations of candy and small toys for their Easter Sunday egg hunt. Contact Jamie Limbaugh for more info.
